Joy Reed joined Road to Responsibility in February 2024 with over 30 years’ experience in the human service field working with many populations of people, including those with ID/DD, brain injury, mental illness, autism and those who are homeless. Joy is adept at new program development having opened more than 50 new programs and supports in her career. Joy has piloted numerous programs with the Commonwealth including high intensity medical homes with 24-hour nursing, a brain injury community center, and Narcan distribution and needle exchange to high-risk individuals.

Joy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hofstra University in 1990 and subsequently obtained her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Bridgewater State University in 1998.
