PROGRAM STAFF SUPERVISOR-Residential Services
Responsible for the support, evaluation and treatment of the individuals who live at a supported community residence.
Provide supervision and training for direct care staff.
Provide Management responsibilities for all aspects of residential living.
Assist with direct care aspects of care.
Previous Management experience, previous direct care residential experience.
Previous knowledge and experience with ISP/Behavior plans
DIRECT CARE-Residential Services
Provide direct care assistance for activities of daily living.
Develop skills such as self-care, communication, independence, safety, community inclusion.
General household tasks (cooking, cleaning, snow removal etc)
Perform assistance with personal care functions
Schedules include a mix of day/evening/overnight/weekend
DIRECT CARE-Day Habilitation Services
Provide direct care supports at a Day habilitation program.
Assist individuals with therapy based activities such as art therapy, music therapy, exercise programs, etc.
Provide support, evaluation and treatment to achieve OT, PT, Speech, Nursing and Behavioral objectives.
Provide direct care supports in a 1:1 or group setting.
Develop member skills such as self-care, self-preservation, expressive communication, and activities for daily living.
Schedules are Monday-Friday 8am-4pm or 9am-3pm
DIRECT CARE-Center Based Services
Provide training, supervision, safety and production for job skills, community employment goals, production on site.
Provide training, safety, driving and quality oversight at community locations.
Enhance social and workplace skills.
Schedules are Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
Residential Director-40 hours-South Shore
Provide upper middle management support within the RTR residential division. Provide effective and consistent management as well as maintaining clinical support and development for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Supervise 3-4 residential programs. Supervise, evaluate and train staff. Provide direct supervision and support to Program Managers at each location. Provide emergency coverage and crisis intervention. Oversee clinical and administrative services. Emergency beeper rotation. BA/BS in Human Service discipline preferred plus experience or 7+ years experience plus High School Diploma/equivalent. At least 4 years of increasingly more responsible positions with Intellectual Disabilities. At least 2 years residential experience, at least 2 years of supervisory experience. Medical and clinical experience. Behavior management, counseling and crisis intervention. Knowledge of ISP and survey & certification standards. Proficient computer skills: Microsoft Office, Excel and database systems. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and effective interpersonal skills are essential as are strong computer and general administrative knowledge. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Career Specialist-40 hours-South Shore
To secure competitive employment for individuals with developmental disabilities referred to or currently attending RTR employment services. May be asked to assist individuals in the Supported Employment Placement (SEP) community program as needed. Contact businesses, companies, and corporations in the community to secure competitive employment for individuals receiving RTR vocational services. Business contacts include, but are not limited to face to face contact, telephone calls, mailings, presentations, email, etc. Extensive time outside of the office is required with flexible scheduling. Works cooperatively with all RTR team members to obtain and expand desired outcomes for individuals with developmental disabilities. Serves as a liaison between internal RTR team and outside companies and businesses coordinating follow up support services. These could include assisting in resume writing, transporting and attending job interviews, job testing etc.
Attend applicable intake meetings and department staff meetings with other members to share individual information, progress and outcomes relevant to all referrals. Track all referrals, intakes, interviews, and outcomes related to each individual case. Participates as requested by the Vice President of Day Services to develop vocational/employment plans for the organization, including the establishment of specific goals and objectives for the services to reach.
Willing and able to spend majority of time on the road and traveling for job procurement purposes .Completes all necessary paperwork pertinent to each referral including but not limited to: intake packet, individual job performance reviews, evaluation assessments, follow up support forms, ISP’s, monthly billing, etc. Bachelor’s degree; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the internet. Must have dependable car. Need to be flexible with schedule.
Road to Responsibility is based in Marshfield with over 40 locations throughout the South Shore. *Minimum requirements include High School Grad/equivalent, valid driver’s license, must be at least 18 years old. A related degree and years of experience required for specific positions.
